Aufgaben

• Schnittstelle zu Lieferanten im operativen Lieferantenmanagement.
• Lieferantenbewertungen im Angebotsprozess und Kapazitätsabgleich.
• Verantwortung für Lieferperformance in On-Time/On-Quality (und On-Cost, sofern anwendbar).
• Lieferantenqualitätsfreigaben/ -genehmigungen sicherstellen und Zertifizierungen prüfen.
• Präsentation der operativen Performance (KPIs) in Warenkreis-Sitzungen.
• Unterstützung bei neuen Produktivitätsinitiativen und Recovery-Plänen.

Responsibilities

• are the central point of contact with suppliers for operational activity management and act as the supplier ambassador to internal functions
• evaluate suppliers during the offer phase and contribute to the selection decision (e.g., providing consolidated forecasts to suppliers and ensuring they have the required capacity)
• manage the supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for On Time, On Quality (and On Cost when applicable) performance
• manage supplier quality approval/authorization and ensure suppliers comply with the required certifications
• present the supplier’s operational performance (e.g., KPIs and assessments) during commodity meetings
• monitor or support new product introduction to ensure industrial qualification maturity before the serial phase
• initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects, setting long-term development targets together with the suppliers and in coordination with the Supplier Development Team
• work out short-term and mid-term recovery plans (e.g., missing parts, returning to Purchase Orders)
• maintain close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services

Qualifications

• have a completed technical degree, industrial engineering, or a degree in supply chain/logistics
• are a team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate with different reference persons
• are assertive and customer-oriented
• are able to analyze complex problems and situations and find suitable solutions
• are willing to travel occasionally
