Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, and further develop assembly, logistics, planning, transport, and warehousing processes – in accordance with HSE requirements, customer expectations, and plant objectives – to ensure optimal performance in relation to industrial performance indicators (IPIs).
- Ensure delivery capability and monitor the availability of production materials by planning, organizing, and supervising the inbound transport of purchased parts.
- Ensure that parts are produced according to customer specifications and requirements.
- Contribute to the implementation of the plant’s improvement plan and promote employee engagement through targeted follow-up actions.
- Lead daily production meetings, adjust resources according to changes, implement corrective actions, and ensure their effectiveness.
- Manage the assembly and logistics team (organization, objectives, discipline and mindset, employee development) in line with departmental and project requirements.
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness and maintenance in the assembly area.
- Propose the operational budget and ensure compliance with the agreed figures.
- Oversee inventory levels, take responsibility for physical inventory, and support the preparation of internal and external audits.
Your Profile
- University degree in business administration and/or engineering, with a focus on logistics, production, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in the automotive sector, especially in JIS (Just-in-Sequence) processes and in managing operational assembly and logistics teams.
- Experience in supplier management and production control.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and the MS Office suite.
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
- Goal-oriented and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills.
