We're supporting our private-equity partner on a confidential search for an outstanding leader to support a significant program of change and transition to drive efficiency across manufacturing finance and supply chain processes.

We search for a Director Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply operations from the Munich site, driving performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction across sourcing, planning, and delivery across 12+ sites and a strong investment focus on digital and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain organization from sourcing to customer delivery
• Develop and execute inventory, demand, and supply allocation strategies through formalized S&OP
• Optimize purchasing, inventory, and materials management to meet cost and quality targets
• Lead supplier risk assessments and drive cost-effective, high-quality partnerships
• Align team performance with broader business goals and foster a culture of accountability
• Use SAP and data-driven insights to forecast trends and guide purchasing decisions
• Champion continuous improvement using lean methodologies and digital tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and resolve inventory discrepancies

Your Profile

• 10+ years in supply chain, with 3+ years in leadership roles
• Strong background in planning, logistics, and customer service
• Proven experience with ERP systems, especially SAP
• Pharma industry experience preferred; regulated sectors like food or chemicals also valued
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
