Zusammenfassung

Terumo Europe is seeking an experienced Production Lead to guide daily formulation and visual inspection operations in a GMP-regulated environment. You will coach 6–8 direct reports and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure efficient manufacturing and quality outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a scientific discipline, chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably Fill & Finish or CDMO.
• Fluency in German and English for team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of GMP, documentation quality and compliance.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

• Coordinate production activities, shift priorities and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.
• Act as the key point of contact between production, technical teams and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support equipment start-up activities, technical transfers, validation projects and the introduction of new products.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement actions to improve efficiency, team performance and operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Lead investigations related to deviations, quality issues and safety incidents.

• Experience within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing is important, ideally within a Fill & Finish or CDMO environment
• Whether you already have leadership experience or are ready to take the next step, you know how to motivate, coach and develop others
• Knowledge of Fill & Finish processes, including formulation, visual inspection and aseptic manufacturing, is considered a strong asset
• You are comfortable working within GMP-regulated environments and understand the importance of documentation quality and compliance
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
