Job summary

Liebherr-Digital Development Center GmbH in Ulm is seeking motivated students for an internship or working student position in Software Defined Machines and Embedded Software. You will support our software development team on embedded IoT, telematics, and connected platforms, contributing to production-grade software solutions.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related fields, you will deepen your C++/Rust development

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master‘s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Advanced skills in developing C++/Rust applications
• Experience in working on and with Linux systems, Yocto is a plus
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German & English

Responsibilities

• Help implementing embedded IoT application and connectivity software components
• Develop modern embedded Linux based system components
• Prepare and support early prototyping of various connectivity standards and upcoming technologies in the area of software defined vehicles
• Create and setup continuous integration concepts and pipelines
• Support testing and implement automated test systems
• High degree of motivation & ability to collaborate in a team

We are looking for motivated students in the area of Embedded Software for internship or as working student to support our software development team in Ulm.
You will participate in shaping our digital products we develop for various divisions within the Liebherr Group for which we provide production grade embedded software solutions like telematics, IoT, device management, other connected platforms & software defined machines.

Your responsibilities

• Help implementing embedded IoT application and connectivity software components
• Develop modern embedded Linux based system components
