Zusammenfassung

ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is seeking a Working Student for the Certification Team at the Cologne head office. You will review documents, update the internal certification database, and help standardize processes while gaining hands-on experience in sustainability certification.

The role requires enrollment in a related field, 15-20 hours per week, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled student in circular economy, renewable energy, chemistry, bioeconomy, environmental studies, business management, economics or related field with availability of at least 1 year and 15–20 hours per week.
• Professional experience in high-level customer support or similar.
• General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent language skills in English (C1) and German (B1) both written and spoken.
• Attention to detail and ability to explain complex issues clearly and prepare professional presentations.
• Service-oriented thinking and excellent communication and networking capability, especially in international environments.
• Independent working style with a pragmatic and hands-on attitude.

Aufgaben

• Communicate with business partners in German and English via email and telephone.
• Help System Users and Certification Bodies familiarize with the ISCC HUB database where registration data and certification documents are saved.
• Occasionally support research activities for ongoing projects (biofuels, land-use change, deforestation, impact assessment).
• Occasionally support preparation for events and webinars.

Your tasks

ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is one of the leading certification systems for sustainability, traceability and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. If you are passionate about sustainability and would like to join our highly motivated and diverse teams to make a difference, we are looking forward to welcoming you as Working Student for the Certification Team at the ISCC head office in Cologne.

• You will review certification documents and update the internal certification database
• You will help standardize and optimise the internal processes for registration and certificate data management and support associated testing
• You will communicate with business partners in German and English language via email and telephone
• You will help System Users and Certification Bodies familiarize with the ISCC HUB database where System User registration data and certification documents are saved
• Occasionally, you will support research activities for ongoing projects, including topics like biofuels, land-use change, deforestation, impact assessment, etc.
• Occasionally, you will support the preparation for events and webinars

Your profile

• Enrolled student in the area of circular economy, renewable energy, chemistry, bioeconomy, environmental studies, business management, economics or another related fieldwith availability ofat least one year (preferably longer) and 15-20 hoursper week.
• Professional experience in high-level customer support, or similar
• General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent language skills in English (at least C1)and German (B1) both written and spoken, additional language skills will be of advantage
• Excellent eye for detail, ability to understand and explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group
• Service-oriented thinking and excellent communication and networking capability, especially in international environments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with an independent working and style pragmatic and hands-on attitude
