Zusammenfassung

ISCC - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is seeking a Working Student for the Logos, Claims, and Licensing Team at the Cologne head office. You will support daily tasks, help register licences, keep guidelines and presentations up to date, and manage data in ISCC systems.

The role offers a hybrid setup in Cologne with development opportunities, an international team, and engagement in sustainability topics. 10-20 hours per week for at least one year are required.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled university student with 10–20 hours/week availability for at least one year.
• Strong English communication skills (C1) and additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and computer skills.
• Good time management, reliability, self-organization and communication skills.
• Interest in sustainability topics and data.

• Approachable and reliable team player.

Aufgaben

• Assist with day-to-day ISCC Logos, Claims, and Licensing tasks.
• Register new licence applications and prepare licence agreements.
• Keep documents up to date (guidelines, presentations, spreadsheets).
• Manage data in ISCC systems (BrandPortal).
• Prepare spreadsheets and format information as required.
• Support conference and event preparations including samples.
• Identify workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
• Perform quality checks on company communications for ISCC alignment.
• Communicate with external companies for simple inquiries.
• Improve layout and design of presentations from provided content.
• Create campaigns from complex technical topics (presentations, website content, newsletters).
• Support marketing collaborations with external companies (social media, press releases).

Your tasks

ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certificationis one of the leading certification systems for sustainability, traceability and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. If you are passionate about sustainability and would like to join our highly motivated and diverse teams to make a difference, we are looking forward to welcoming you as Working Student for the Logos, Claims, and Licensing Team at the ISCC head office in Cologne. You will be responsible for the following activities:

• Support day-to-day tasks related to ISCC Logos, Claims, and Licensing topics
• Assist with registering new licence applications, including preparing licence agreements, tracking documentation, and keeping all entries up to date
• Keep documents up to date (e.g., guidelines, presentations, spreadsheets)
• Manage and maintain data in ISCC systems (e.g., ISCC BrandPortal)
• Prepare spreadsheets according to required information and format
• Support conference and event preparations, including ordering and collecting product samples
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency in daily operations
• Conduct primary quality checks, including reviewing company communication for alignment with ISCC requirements
• Communicate with external companies on simple inquiries.
• Improve layout and design of presentations based on provided content
• Ability to take complex, technical topics and create easy-to-understand campaigns (e.g., presentations, website content, newsletters)
• Support in marketing collaborations with external companies (e.g., social media, press releases)

Your profile

• Enrolled student at a German university with an availability of 10-20 hours per week for at least one year (preferably longer), preferably in (environmental) law, sustainability management, natural sciences, environmental sciences, marketing and communications, resource management, supply chain management, international business, or a comparable major
• Excellent communication skills in English (at least C1), additional languages will be of advantage
• Excellent attention to detail and computer skills
• Excellent time management, reliability, self-organization and communication skills
• Interest in sustainability topics, certification systems, with a high affinity for working with data
• A service-oriented, proactive and supportive attitude
• An approachable and reliable team player
