The Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) in Berlin invites motivated students to join as a research intern in photonics. You will collaborate on design and simulation of photonic neural networks, assist with PIC layouts, and set up optical measurement experiments as part of an early-stage deep-tech project.
We seek master's-level students in electrical engineering, physics, or photonics with Python experience and knowledge of photonics/ML. Strong English is required; German is a plus.
