Job summary

ISCC - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification in Cologne seeks a Student Assistant to support the EU team with data processing for annual reporting to the European Commission and handling requests related to reporting.

The role involves updating audit procedures and internal documents, assisting with ISCC audit tools, and preparing presentations for trainings and external communications, while performing general office tasks in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student with 15–20 hours per week availability.
• Fluent English (C1) and basic German.
• Interest in sustainability management or related field.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process the data for the annual reporting to the European Commission.
• Address incoming requests related to the annual reporting.
• Support updates to audit procedures, annual report, self-declarations.
• Support testing the ISCC audit digital tools (Audit Procedure System).
• Update presentations for the ISCC Trainings and external communications with stakeholders.
• General office duties.

You will assist the team with administrative and organizational tasks:

• Process the data for the annual reporting to the European Commission
• Address incoming requests related to the annual reporting
• Support updates to relevant documents (e.g. audit procedures, annual report, self-declarations)
• Support testing the ISCC audit digital tools (Audit Procedure System)
• Update presentations for the ISCC Trainings and external communications with stakeholders
• General office duties

Your profile

• Enrolled student with an availability of 15-20 hoursper week for at least one year, preferably in the area of sustainability management, environmental studies, resource management or another related field
• Excellent communication skillsin English(at least C1) and basic German
• Basic understanding of auditing or certification processes is a plus
• Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
• A high degree of initiative, very good self-organization and good analytical thinking
• A proactiveand supportive attitude
• An approachable and reliable team player
