Job summary

European XFEL in Germany seeks a motivated student in Chemistry or Biology to join the Sample Environment and Characterisation group. You will maintain inventory of chemicals, organize storage, and assist with routine lab tasks. English required, proficiency in Excel/Word and familiarity with lab software.

For our Sample Environment and Characterisation group we are looking for a

• Maintaining an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all laboratory chemicals, consumables, and general materials
• Organizing and optimizing storage of laboratory items
• Support the group in general lab work

• Enrolled Bachelor or Master student in Chemistry or Biology
• Interest in working in laboratories or previous experience in working in a laboratory
• Good English knowledge
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and a quick learner of general laboratory software and database tools
• Well-organized and structured in managing data

Compensation & long-term security
