Job summary

Aareon invites motivated students to join its integrated dual study program in Business Information Systems (B.Sc.) in Mainz. Beginning August 1, 2026, you will combine vocational IT training with university studies, gaining hands-on experience across IT services, software development, and support.

You will study at the university while applying academic knowledge in the company, with mentoring and opportunities for internal/external training to build both technical and business expertise.

Qualifications

• Interest in computer science, digital technologies, and business processes.
• Initial experience with programming languages or IT systems is an advantage.

Program Structure

Your integrated dual study program, starting August 1, 2026, consists of the following three components:

• Vocational Training (IT Specialist (m/f/d) focusing on Application Development)
• Dual Study Program (Business Information Systems)
• Practical Experience within the Company

What We Are Looking For

• Completed A-levels (Abitur), University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification (Fachabitur), or an equivalent school‑leaving certificate
• Strong interest in computer science, digital technologies, and business processes
• Initial experience with programming languages or IT systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challengesSolid mathematical skills to handle the logical and technical aspects of computer science
• Team‑oriented mindset and the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
• Strong organizational skills, enabling you to balance academic studies and vocational training effectively, even during demanding periods
• High motivation to continuously expand your knowledge in both IT and business‑related topics
• Good German and English language skills, including the ability to work with English‑language technical documentation and literature
