AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Bridge Engineer within our Bridges and Civils team to shape the future of transport across the UK and Ireland. You will develop high-quality designs for new constructions, renewals and maintenance while collaborating with global design teams.

You will apply analytical skills, produce 3D BIM deliverables, and provide guidance to junior staff. The role supports flexible and hybrid working, with security clearance considerations for project assignments.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Near Chartered/Chartered status and membership of ICE or IStructE.
• Experience on projects with key clients such as Transport Scotland, National Highways, Network Rail, local authorities, major contractors, and developers.
• Good understanding of Eurocodes, DMRB, MCHW, Network Rail standards.
• Practical knowledge of bridge design, maintenance, and assessment.
• Experience with structural analysis software packages such as LUSAS, MIDAS and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design.

• Demonstrate sound interpersonal skills and the ability to converse with a wide range of colleagues across engineering disciplines.

You will work on significant projects such as the Lower Thames Crossing, Sizewell C, Heathrow, and key schemes across the M25, as well as non-transportation civil engineering projects like Hinkley Point C and Transporter Bridge.
