Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder Maschinenbau.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der strukturellen Analyse von Flugzeugen.
• Erfahrung in der Anwendung von Stressanalysen- und FEM-Tools (z. B. Nastran, Hyperworks).
• Gute Kenntnisse gängiger Spannungsanalyse-Methoden (z. B. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young).
• Erfahrung in der Spannungsanalyse von Rohrleitungen oder Aufprallsimulationen von Vorteil.
• Fließendes Deutsch und Englisch in Wort und Schrift.

Aufgaben

• Auslegung von Strukturelementen aus Metall und Carbonfasern mit FEM-Tools.
• Trade-off-Analysen für Designlösungen undKS- Konzepte.
• Analyse mechanischer Systeme und deren Integration.
• Erstellung von Analyseberichten zur Unterstützung der Luftfahrzeugqualifikation.
• Beurteilung von Schäden und Entwicklung von Reparaturen im Einsatz.
• Unterstützung von Fertigungs- und Montagelinien; Bewertung von Concessions/Nichtkonformitäten.
• Kommunikation mit relevanten Stakeholdern und angrenzenden Abteilungen.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Stress Engineer (m/f/d) in Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

• Sizing of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state of the art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods
• Trade off analysis for design solutions and structural concepts
• Analysis of mechanical systems and equipment integration
• Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support air frame qualification
• Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C
• Support to manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluation of concessions and non-conformities
• Communication to relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience as Engineer in aircraft structural analysis
• Experience in the application of specific stress analysis and FEM tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks etc.)
• Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
• Experience in stress analysis of pipe works or impact simulations is a plus
• Fluent German and English skills spoken and written
