Zusammenfassung

Orizon GmbH sucht in Manching einen Systemingenieur (m/w/d) für Airbus Defence and Space. Sie konzipieren Systemanforderungen, gestalten Roadmaps und verantworten Priorisierung des Backlogs. Sie arbeiten an leistungsstarken UI-Lösungen mit Qt/QML, führen Risikomanagement durch und koordinieren externe Lieferanten. Englische Kommunikation ist erforderlich; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Computer Science, Aerospace oder vergleichbar.
• Berufserfahrung im Engineering und in der Luftfahrt.
• Erfahrung im gesamten System-Engineering-Lifecycle von Simulationsprojekten.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit externen Lieferanten.
• Kenntnisse moderner Softwareentwicklungsmethoden (Agile, DevOps, Containerisierung).

Aufgaben

• Kundenbedürfnisse in klare System-Spezifikationen übersetzen.
• Technische Roadmaps zusammen mit einem Team von System- & Software-Ingenieuren gestalten.
• Produkt-Backlog eigenständig priorisieren und manage.
• Nutzerorientierte, leistungsstarke UIs mit Qt/QML entwickeln und Architektur berücksichtigen.
• Risikomanagement betreiben und Qualität pünktlich liefern.
• Zusammenarbeit mit externen Lieferanten / Subunternehmern steuern.
• Fortschritt, Herausforderungen und Feedback regelmäßig kommunizieren.

Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Capture and translate customer needs into clear system specification and acceptance criteria
• Shape technical roadmap together with a team of system- & software engineers, breaking down requirements into tasks and milestones
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, technical improvements, and customer feedback
• Drive the development of user-centric, high-performance UIs with Qt/QML, aligning design with usability and architectural integrity
• Perform risk management activities by proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact deliveryEnsure high-quality product delivery on time within agreed budget and scope
• Manage collaboration with external suppliers and subcontractors, ensure seamless integration into the overall system
• Regularly monitor, evaluate and report progress, challenges and customer feedback. Keep stakeholders informed

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace or comparable
• Work experience in the field of Engineering and Aerospace
• Professional experience across the entire system engineering lifecycle of simulation projects
• Experience in managing external suppliers and subcontractors
• Understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps pipelines, containerization)
• Familiarity of software technologies (C++, Ot/QML)
• Understanding of military aircraft systems, operational procedures and mission workflows is considered as an advantage
• Fluent English skills, written and spoken
• German skills would be a plus
