Job summary

Lloyds Bank Deutschland is seeking a strategic professional to support the Head of Strategy in developing the business strategy and digital product portfolio. You will help define long-term priorities and coordinate executive-level presentations and documentation for the Executive Board and senior stakeholders.

You will independently conduct market, competitor, and trend analyses, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and contribute to business cases and strategic planning across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Finance.
• Experience in Strategy, Consulting or Banking sector.
• Strong understanding of banking products.
• Knowledge of balance sheets, P&L and cost/revenue drivers.
• Interest in fintech developments.
• Proven strategic analysis methods applied to decisions.
• Structured, methodical work and stakeholder communication.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Very good English and German, written and spoken.

• Contribute to review and control activities in the strategic planning process and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, IT, and Risk departments.
• Work on implementation projects.

• Support and advise the Head of Strategy in the ongoing development of the business strategy and digital product portfolio.
• Play a pivotal role in defining and influencing the organization’s long-term strategic direction and priorities.
• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of high-quality presentations and documentation for the Executive Board and senior stakeholders.
• Independently conduct and present market, competitor, and trend analyses with the ability to analyse data, draw strategic insights, and communicate findings effectively.
• Develop business cases (including financials) for new products and product enhancements.
• Contribute to review and control activities throughout the strategic planning process, as well as proactively identifying and recommending process improvements.
• Collaborate directly with various departments, particularly Finance, Marketing, IT, and Risk.
• Working on implementation projects

Your knowledge/experience:

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Finance
• Previous experience within Strategy, Consulting or the Banking sector.
• Very good understanding of banking products required
• Strong understanding of a bank’s balance sheet, P&L, and the key drivers of costs and revenues.
• Affinity for new technological developments in the financial services sector
• Proven expertise in applying strategic analysis methods to inform decision making
• Structured and methodical way of working, and communicate effectively with various types of stakholders
• Advanced handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Very good English and German skills, both written and spoken
