Strategic IT Buyer / Strategischer IT Einkäufer (m/w/d)

Help build the IT backbone of one of Europe’s most advanced semiconductor fabs. At ESMC, we are building a next‑generation semiconductor manufacturing site in Dresden — one of Europe’s most important high‑tech projects. As Strategic IT Buyer, you will play a key role in establishing the local IT procurement landscape that supports both the construction phase and future fab operations. From IT infrastructure and enterprise software to specialized technical services, your work will directly contribute to the successful ramp‑up of our manufacturing environment. This role combines strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cross‑functional collaboration in a highly international and fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or category management with a focus on IT‑related categories.
• Strong background in supplier management, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and service environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented working style.
• Comfortable operating in an international and dynamic project environment.
• Professional German and English language skills required.
• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or other high‑tech industries is considered a strong advantage.
