Northrop Grumman seeks a Global Supply Chain Staff Project Manager for an expatriate assignment in Weeze, Germany. You will lead GSC activities interfacing with IPT leadership to ensure on-time production for the F-35 Center Fuselage program and coordinate supplier and customer interfaces. Two-year in-country leadership is anticipated.

The role requires extensive aerospace/defense experience, international business exposure, and the ability to secure U.S. Secret clearance.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Global Supply Chain (GSC) Staff Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain Organization. This ex-pat role is located is in-country in Weeze, North Rhein-Westphalia, Germany. The visa process for an ex-pat can take up to 9 months before you would be on site in Germany. During that time a requirement to be located in Palmdale, CA for training on the manufacturing line.
In this role you will be supporting the Northrop Grumman expatriate team stationed at Rheinmetall Aviation Services GmbH (RAS) at their facility in Weeze, Germany. You will be supporting the F-35 Program by ensuring the on-time F-35 Center Fuselage (CF) Production program in Weeze to meet the demands of the recurring production rate. The position will be interfacing with the Supplier Program Manager for RAS, Palmdale F-35 IPTs, F-35 Functional Support teams, Supplier Management Team leads and Customers in RAS’ baseline program plans, validating the updates, follow-up and reporting. The selected individual should be able to interact and influence RAS’ management and communicate effectively with both oral and written presentations. The responsibilities include regular customer interface and establishing and maintaining customer and supplier relationships.
This expatriate assignment is expected to provide uninterrupted two (2) years in-country leadership.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• On site Point of Contact (POC) responsible for management of GSC functions to the International Integrated Product Team (IPT) Director
• Owns the timely closure of assigned actions, projects, initiatives and efforts for GSC in support of the International IPT goals and expectations
• Accountable for all Weekly required GSC metrics health, status and visibility
• Accountable for the GSC shipping plan of all Germany Non-recurring items
• Supports the multi-functional team to establish and execute a POCLs consumable strategy for Rheinmetall and responsible for the plan to transfer to Rheinmetall’s GSC responsibilities
• Supports the multi-functional team to establish and execute a standard hardware strategy for Rheinmetall and responsible for the plan to transfer to Rheinmetall’s GSC responsibilities
• Supports the multi-functional team to establish and execute an indirect consumable strategy for Rheinmetall and responsible for the plan to transfer to Rheinmetall’s GSC responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Must have 12 years of experience with Bachelors Degree, 10 years of experience with Masters Degree or 8 years of experience with PhD
• Experience must be in one or more of the following: Supply Chain, Project Management, Program Execution and/or Program Management
• Experience in aerospace/defense industry
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
