Job summary

Bolt is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead the vision and execution of Bolt Plus and subscription loyalty initiatives. You will own end-to-end design from discovery to global launch, working with Rides, Rentals and Delivery teams to scale impact.

You will partner with researchers, PMs and engineers, build prototypes, and establish design patterns that scale across markets. Hybrid work with Berlin base and relocation support for Tallinn is offered.

We are looking for a skilled Staff Product Designer to lead and execute all user experience and design-related initiatives within our Incentives group. You’ll be responsible for our brand-new Bolt Plus programme, take the challenge of scaling it further, and obsess about new ways to engage customers with Bolt’s services across business verticals and all our markets.

About The Role

As Staff Product Designer, you co‑lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Bolt’s customer subscription and loyalty programmes, including scaling our new product – Bolt Plus. You take end‑to‑end ownership, from discovery to global launch. Define and deliver on short‑and long‑term roadmaps aligned with our company goals and stakeholders within our Rides, Rentals and Delivery verticals. You contribute to the growth strategy across all Bolt verticals and influence the ways of working within the global design function.

Your ability to build strong stakeholder partnerships, challenge existing solutions and drive the improvement of customer experience across the group will be essential to your success in this role.

Location:

This role is open to candidates based in Berlin. However, relocation support is provided only for candidates relocating to Tallinn, Estonia.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Advocating for the user, conducting usability tests, and ensuring design decisions are based on user research and feedback.
• Collaborating with User Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to comprehend project requirements and limitations.
• Developing interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts and test usability.
• Managing design projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines while effectively balancing multiple tasks.
• Contributing to or developing design guidelines and patterns to maintain consistency across products.
• Creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

About You

• You have experience as a Staff Product Designer, preferably in a fast‑paced technology or internet‑based company, and a proven track record of shipping digital products that serve millions of users.
• You have experience designing for growth, incentives, or subscription‑based products, with a strong understanding of how to balance user needs and business impact.
• You have an excellent portfolio showcasing a range of design work for mobile and web platforms, including user interface and user experience design.
• You're highly proficient in design tools and software, including Figma, Jira, Confluence, and various usability testing tools.
• You stay up‑to‑date with the latest design trends and emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to your work.
• You can communicate fluently in English and your exceptional collaboration skills enable you to effectively work with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders and the ways of how we work and execute at Bolt.
