About the role:

As a Staff Software Engineer within our Retail – Transaction domain, you’ll take technical leadership across two engineering teams responsible for one of the most critical customer journeys at Redcare Pharmacy. Combining deep hands‑on engineering with Staff‑level influence, you’ll shape how our checkout capabilities evolve across web, backend and, increasingly, native mobile experiences while creating technical alignment across connected areas such as payments, orders and shipping.
This is an opportunity to influence beyond individual features or a single codebase: you’ll help set architectural direction, raise engineering standards and turn complex business and technical challenges into scalable solutions used by millions of customers across Europe.

About the tech stack:

React.js, Next.js, Java, Spring Boot, SwiftUI, Swift, Kotlin, Android SDK, ES6, ESI, Varnish, Docker, Google Cloud, Kubernetes.

While this is a remote position based in Germany, it may require occasional on‑site collaboration at our offices in Berlin or Cologne, depending on business and team requirements.
