Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)

Hamburg | Full-Time

Let’s DELIVER together:

In the role of Logistics Specialist, you will support the operational performance of our EMEA logistics network by ensuring accurate data management, reliable delivery reporting, and timely execution of carrier-related activities. The purpose of the role is to secure a smooth, cost-efficient, and customer-centric logistics flow by maintaining delivery promise data, monitoring carrier performance, coordinating change requests, and supporting continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting tools. You will:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of all logistics master data, including cut‑off timings, delivery promises, and EasyPost/OMS configurations.
  • Monitor delivery performance across carriers (EXP/STD/PUDO) and proactively identify delays, anomalies, or missing data events.
  • Prepare and share LOD delay reports, rate audits, and delivery performance insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and communicate change requests (OMS & PFS) and ensure correct implementation together with Tech, Planning, and warehouse teams.
  • Support weekly and monthly logistics reporting cycles, including LOD data preparation, sustainability metrics, cost calculations, and business review inputs.
  • Analyse lost and damaged shipments, identify root causes, and support preventive actions with carriers and warehouse teams.
  • Maintain and update logistics dashboards, Google Sheets, EasyPost datasets, Centiro promise engine data, and automated reporting tools.
  • Validate shipping material usage, packaging data, and operational inputs to secure accuracy for downstream systems.
  • Monitor volume commitments and alignment with carriers, escalating risks and deviations when required.
  • Support development projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including cost‑saving opportunities and process optimisation.
  • Ensure correct communication and alignment with cross‑functional partners (Customer Service, Tech, Planning, Finance, Warehouse Operations).
  • Participate in regular meetings with carriers (e.g., EasyPost) and internal teams, ensuring timely follow‑up on open actions.
  • Maintain structured data documentation, version control, and audit‑ready reporting files.
What we DREAM of:
  • Completed apprenticeship, degree, or practical training in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ideally 1–3 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations support role.
  • Very strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data cleansing, automation). This is essential for the role.
  • Strong experience in Power BI (dashboard creation, data modelling, DAX).
  • High enthusiasm for working with data; someone who enjoys building reports, analysing patterns, and presenting insights.
  • Experience with logistics or shipping systems (EasyPost, Centiro, OMS) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling operational data and KPIs.
  • Strong ability to structure information, document processes, and maintain reporting consistency.
  • Comfortable working in an international, cross‑functional, and solution‑oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into clear actions for stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and optimisation.
We CARE about you:

Join our dynamic and international environment and share our values with us: WE DREAM, WE CARE, WE DARE and WE DELIVER. Our corporate culture is characterized by mutual respect, tolerance, appreciation, and willingness to perform.

  • Internationally successful company with a flat hierarchy
  • A highly motivated team with a can‑do attitude

  • Free breakfast and lunch and free drinks
  • Free monthly massage
  • Cooperation with corporate benefits and free access to a benefits portal for discounted tickets for sport, culture events, and corporate deals
