Job summary

STW Kautzmann GmbH in Germany seeks an automation electronics technician to join our production team. You will create and update control software for plants and standardize software libraries to improve availability, operability, and safety.

Applicants bring training in electronics automation (or related), strong control programming knowledge, and a structured, practical work style. We offer training opportunities, a company pension, and a collaborative, flat-hierarchy environment.

Qualifications

• Completed training as an electronics technician for automation technology, mechatronics technician, or comparable technical profession.
• Solid knowledge of control programming and electrical engineering.
• Independent, structured, and careful working style with eye for practical solutions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and openness to personal development.
• Good German language skills (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Creation, maintenance and updating of electrical designs and circuit diagrams with EPLAN Electric P8 and ensuring up-to-date documentation of plants and machines.
• Creation and further development of control software for production plants, especially Siemens and WAGO controllers.
• Standardization of software libraries and plant functions to improve availability, operability, and process safety.
• Testing, simulation, and preparation of the software as well as support of commissioning and plant modifications.
• Analysis and troubleshooting of faults in electrical systems, controllers, and software functions.
• Documentation of changes, tests, approvals, and project work on plant controls.
• Support in conversion, modernization, and optimization projects in the field of automation

• Completed training as an electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), or in a comparable technical profession

• Independent, structured, and careful working style with an eye for practical solutions
