Solutions Architect (Mid-Senior) | AI / Deep Tech / Infrastructure | Germany

A world-renowned deep-tech company recognized globally as a leader in AI and quantum software is hiring a Mid/Senior Solution Architect to join their pre‑sales team in Munich on a hybrid basis. Founded in 2019 and backed by major global strategic investors, this organization is transforming how artificial intelligence is deployed worldwide through groundbreaking technologies that compress large language models by up to 95% and significantly reduce inference costs.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced technology and customer needs, crafting innovative, scalable, and robust AI‑powered solutions.

Key Requirements

• Technical Background: Previous experience in a technical partner pre‑sales or consulting role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Implementation Consultant.
• Communication & Delivery: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interface with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, write technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and run independent product demos.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML services, and sovereign, on‑premise, and hybrid deployment models, alongside expertise in sizing GPU infrastructure for LLM workloads from A10 to H200 tiers.
• MLOps & Containerisation: Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, orchestration frameworks (Kubeflow, Flyte, MLflow), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• LLM Stacks: Understanding of inference stacks (vLLM, llama.cpp, OpenVINO), model delivery formats (ONNX, .safetensors, Hugging Face), and benchmarking techniques for accuracy, latency, and throughput.
• Core Skills: Hands‑on coding skills in Python and SQL, familiarity with ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face), and a relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
• Logistics: Fluent in both German and English, with availability to travel as needed for meetings, conferences, and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Computer Vision, Speech, and Vision‑Language models.
• Background in AI model optimisation, quantisation, or edge device deployment.
• Practical design experience with RAG pipelines, multi‑agent systems, and big data architectures.
• Knowledge of data privacy, GDPR compliance, and the EU AI Act.
