The role sits in the pre-sales organisation, helping large organisations in finance, energy, manufacturing, telecom and industry adopt AI and quantum software solutions.

Solution Architect - Germany | AI / Cloud / LLM / Pre-Sales

We are currently partnered with a fast-growing European deep-tech company developing advanced AI and quantum software solutions for large organisations across finance, energy, manufacturing, telecom, and industrial sectors. As part of their continued international expansion, they are looking to hire a Mid/Senior Solution Architect to join their pre-sales organisation in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead throughout the pre-sales process, translating customer requirements into scalable and commercially viable AI solutions
• Engage directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including enterprise architects, data scientists, engineering teams, IT leaders, and business decision-makers
• Design AI/ML architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, including sovereign, on-premise, and hybrid deployments
• Develop solution architectures for LLM inference, model deployment, AI workloads, and enterprise AI platforms
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and customer presentations
• Prepare technical proposals, RFP responses, tenders, solution documentation, and architecture materials
• Design and advise on MLOps architectures covering CI/CD, monitoring, model lifecycle management, and orchestration

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting role
• Strong experience working directly with enterprise customers and technology partners
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience writing technical proposals, RFP responses, tenders, and solution documentation
• Proven ability to independently deliver technical product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
• Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Experience with AI/ML cloud services such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML
