arculus GmbH entwickelt als Teil der Jungheinrich AG hochwertige mobile Roboter und Softwareanwendungen für die Automatisierung der Intralogistik. Als Solution Specialist (d/f/m) arbeiten Sie an der Qualifizierung von Automatisierungslösungen durch simulationsbasierte Analysen und die Integration von Soft- und Hardware.

Sie arbeiten eng mit Vertrieb, Produktmanagement und Software-Engineering zusammen, um standardisierte Layout-Planungsprozesse zu etablieren, Systeme mit MQTT/OPC-UA zu verbinden

Qualifications

• 3–5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in Industrial Engineering, Logistikplanung, Systems Engineering oder Systems Integration, idealerweise in Robotik oder industrieller Automatisierung.

Responsibilities

• Design und Durchführung von Simulationen zur Modellierung von Materialflüssen, Identifikation von Engpässen und Validierung der Systemleistung.
• Integration von AMR/AGV-Simulatoren in Prozessmodelle zur Bewertung des Verkehrsmanagements und der Systemdurchsatzleistung.
• Planung und Validierung von Systemlayouts mit CAD-basierten Werkzeugen und Simulationssoftware.
• Vernetzung von Software-Systemen und hardwaren mit industriellen Kommunikationsprotokollen wie MQTT und OPC-UA, inklusive I/O-Signalintegration.
• Entwicklung von Low-Code-Prototypen mit Node-RED oder ähnlichen Tools zur Konfiguration von Peripherie, Implementierung von Logik und Datenflüssen.
• Analyse von Kundendaten mittels Data Science und Machine-Learning-Techniken zur Optimierung von Vorhersage-Modelle und Leistungsbewertungen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Produktmanagement, Software-Engineering und anderen Teams zur Abstimmung der Simulationslogik mit der Systemarchitektur.
• Dokumentation der Simulationsergebnisse und Ableitung datenbasierter Empfehlungen zur Entscheidungsunterstützung für Kunden.

Deine Aufgaben

As aSolution Specialist (d/f/m), you will play a key role in qualifying automation solutions through data-driven simulations, detailed layout planning, and technical integration. You will bridge the gap between digital simulations and real-world shopfloor operations, helping validate material flows, predict system throughput, and identify potential bottlenecks before implementation.

Working closely with Sales, Product Management, and Software Engineering teams, you will help establish standardized practices for layout planning, transport processes, and simulation. Your work will support informed customer decisions and ensure our proposed automation solutions are technically feasible, efficient, and aligned with real-world operational requirements.

Your Tasks

• Design and execute simulations to model material flows, identify bottlenecks, and validate system performance during project qualification

• Integrate AMR/AGV vehicle simulators into process models to evaluate traffic management and predict system throughput

• Plan and validate system layouts using CAD-based tools and simulation software to align digital models with real-world shopfloor conditions

• Connect software systems and physical hardware using industrial communication protocols such as MQTT and OPC-UA, including I/O signal integration

• Develop low-code prototypes using Node-RED or similar tools to configure peripherals, implement logic, and connect data flows

• Analyze customer logistics data using data science and machine learning techniques to improve predictive modeling and performance assessments

• Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, and other teams to align simulation logic with system architecture and improve technical solutions

• Develop and improve the Sales Enablement tech stack, document simulation results clearly, and provide data-driven recommendations to support customer decisions

Dein Profil

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Planning, Systems Engineering, or Systems Integration, ideally within robotics or industrial automation

• Hands-on experience with simulation software, CAD-based layout planning, and AMR/AGV vehicle simulators

• Experience with low-code environments such as Node-RED and a solid foundation in data science or machine learning

• Understanding of industrial communication protocols, including MQTT and OPC-UA, and hardware interfacing through I/O signals

• Knowledge of IT system architecture and design principles for intralogistics solutions

• Familiarity with fleet management systems and communication standards for autonomous mobile robots, such as VDA 5050

• Analytical and structured, with the ability to translate complex customer data into clear, visual, and actionable recommendations

• A strong communicator who can explain technical findings and facilitate discussions with different stakeholders

• Organized and detail-oriented, with strong coordination and problem-solving skills

• Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of tasks and driving continuous improvement

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity while helping teams maintain focus and alignment

• Motivated to bridge simulation, software, and physical automation to deliver practical customer value
