METRO.digital is expanding its Marketing Automation platform and seeks a Solution Expert to design and optimize the global marketing platform, enabling real-time, cross-channel customer experiences. You will align business needs with technology, work with cross-functional teams, and guide stakeholders through design and implementation, while staying current with product updates.

This hybrid role offers a flexible, multicultural environment and opportunities to influence the rollout across METRO

Qualifikationen

• Proven expertise as application or solution expert in a tech setup.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize everything in one picture.
• Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language and vice versa.
• Experience in managing stakeholders relations, preparing and conducting presentations for teams.
• Ability to manage and facilitate communication in an international work environment.
• Mastering strategic business process modeling, traceability, and quality management techniques.
• Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).

As METRO redefines and accelerates its digital presence, the demand for a global marketing platform which enables business functions to unify customer data across organization and to deliver real-time consistent customer experiences across channels is mandatory.

The aim of Marketing Automation is to offer complete digital communication capabilities for contacting our customers: customer journey management, real time triggered automation, multi-channel communication management etc. We are changing from manually selected offers to a fully automated refined 1:1 campaign management based on data interaction machine that drives sales & growth as main objective. To achieve this goal, METRO decided to use the Adobe Experience Platform, one of the market leaders for digital communication tools. As we are at the beginning of the implementation journey in the pilot METRO countries, it is the perfect time to join us in driving the process forward and rollout the solution in multiple countries during the next years.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

• Understand the capabilities and limitations of the specific solution or platform;
• Responsible for functional design within the defined solution scope;
• Jointly with the team and depending on system complexity, configure, customize, and optimize solutions according to business and technical requirements and platform architecture guidance;
• Recommend best practices and design patterns within the respective squad or platform;
• Act as the bridge between business needs and technical execution by interpreting business processes and embedding them into platform configurations and solution design, together with the development teams;
• Validate that the implemented solution aligns with business processes, compliance requirements, and governance standards;
• Assist in implementation, integration, and testing of the solution;
• Provide training and guidance to users or technical teams;
• Stay up-to-date with latest product updates, releases, and features. In the case of external solutions, this is subject to the condition that employees are given access to relevant information and training;
• Advise on solution roadmap and upgrade paths;
• Help optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the deployed solution via continuous improvements;
• Coordinate across squads, is SPOC for countries and leads harmonization of solution
• Support with problem analysis;
• Provides consultancy on solution for overarching projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required key competencies and qualifications:

• Proven expertise and relevant work experience as application or solution expert in a tech setup (multinational or startup);
• Good analytical skills - you know how to ask the right questions and how to summarize everything in one picture;
• Having the ability to turn complex concepts into simple language and vice versa;
• Experience in managing stakeholders relations, preparing and conducting presentations and briefing your teams (Dev, Support, QA);
• Being able to manage and facilitate communication in a challenging, complex and international work environment;
• Mastering strategic business process modeling, traceability, linking of dependent tasks, and quality management techniques;
• Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
