Knauf Gips KG in Germany seeks an IT/Finance specialist to manage SAP SEM-BCS consolidation and automate transfer of financial data from subsidiaries into Group reporting.

What you'll do

• You will be responsible for our consolidation software SAP SEM-BCS and ensure the automated transfer of financial information from our subsidiaries into Group reporting

• In this role, you will monitor and optimise IT-related reporting guidelines and drive the automation of accounting processes within finance and accounting

• As a competent point of contact, you will support our domestic and international companies with questions regarding the IT-related implementation of Group reporting

• In addition, you will actively contribute to the further development and expansion of our Group reporting tools

• You will also play an engaged role in the introduction of new consolidation software

Who you are

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Business Administration, or alternatively have relevant vocational training or many years of professional experience with a comparable level of knowledge

• You also have professional experience in the IT environment of finance and accounting and possess a very good understanding of the relevant processes and software requirements in accounting

• You are highly confident in working with the SAP FI module, ideally complemented by knowledge of SAP BW

• In addition, you have very good knowledge of MS Office

• A communicative, service-oriented personality as well as very good English skills complete your profile
