Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks an experienced utility-scale solar technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain inverter and DC systems in the field. You will perform safety procedures, LOTO, and on-site testing while keeping schedules and quality at the forefront.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of solar farm experience, operable electrical skills, and willingness to travel 100% to sites. You will work with a safety-focused team and contribute to O&M tasks and documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of utility-scale solar experience.
• Experience on megawatt-scale PV systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with Solar O&M maintenance.
• OSHA / NFPA 70E safety standards knowledge.
• Willingness to travel to solar farm sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).

• Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar systems, including inverters, combiner boxes, and string circuits
• Perform LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, and IR scans
• Assign work, track progress, and keep jobs on schedule
• Perform operations and maintenance on utility-scale solar plants
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety compliance
• Enforce OSHA and NFPA 70E safety requirements on-site

Requirements

• 3+ years of utility-scale solar experience (solar farms / ground-mount systems)
• Experience working on megawatt-scale PV systems
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills, including inverters, DC systems, and power electronics
• Experience with Solar O&M / maintenance work
• Working knowledge of OSHA / NFPA 70E safety standards
• Experience using multimeters, meggers, amp clamps, and testing equipment
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel 100% to solar farm sites
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must follow all OSHA and company safety requirements
