Tasks

• Creation of test specifications and instructions or design and implementation of automated software tests
• Evaluation and reporting of test results
• Monitoring of test progress
• Support in preparing quotations with regard to necessary software tests
• Collaboration with software developers in the implementation of quality assurance and improvement measures
• Creation of process documentation (e.g., test concepts)
• Ensuring the necessary test coverage
• Initial analysis of customer error reports
• Testing and documentation of software and system components, including selection of suitable test methods

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in software testing
• Good programming skills in an object‑oriented programming language
• Very good written and spoken English and German skills
• Completed vocational training in computer science (e.g., FIAN) or technical degree
• Good knowledge of testing and debugging tools/frameworks
• Willingness to travel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
