Isar Aerospace SE is seeking a Software Test Engineer for the Ground Control Systems team to advance testing systems that support the development of new aerospace technologies and platforms.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, develop test plans, work with SIL/HIL setups, support IVVQ activities, perform regression testing, and document results while collaborating with PLC and software engineers to improve the testing pipeline.

Qualifikationen

• 4 Years of experience in Software Testing in RTOS environments.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with TwinCAT and Python for test automation.
• Understanding of testing methodologies for real-time/automation systems.
• Hands-on work with test rigs, hardware interfaces, and measurement tools.
• Familiarity with data logging, tolerance measurement, and evaluating real-world variability.
• Organized and proactive with high attention to detail, with a can-do attitude and outstanding communication skills

• Ability to create simulation models (e.g., with MATLAB/Simulink).
• Knowledge of safety critical‑ standards (IEC 62061, ECSS‑Q‑80, ECSS‑E‑40, ECSS‑Q‑40, FAA AC 450.141‑1A).
