Job summary

Metirionic in Dresden is seeking a Software Systems/Signal Processing Engineer (m/f/d) to develop algorithms for radio-based ranging and positioning using UWB, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4, and radar sensing applications.

You will translate requirements into system specifications, bring algorithms from simulation to embedded implementation, and collaborate with customers and technology partners to validate results.

Qualifications

• A university or technical college degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in digital signal processing, estimation, or related areas.
• Proficiency with C, Rust, Python, or another system programming language.
• Experience with modern software development workflows and tools, including Git, code reviews, continuous integration, unit testing, and Jira.
• Openness to AI-assisted engineering and the use of AI tools in daily development workflows, with critical review and validation of results.
• Professional English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
