Job summary

CGM is seeking a senior IT leader to head an international team of frontend/backend developers, QA, DevOps, and Scrum Masters. You will drive agile delivery in a modern cloud environment, ensure onboarding and skill development, and align recruitment standards across the global team.

You will coordinate technical requirements with other departments and guide the partial decryption program under secure cloud and AI-powered methods. A strong background in IT and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed IT training or IT degree with relevant software background.
• Experience leading Scrum teams and motivating international staff.
• Proven desktop and web development in frontend/backend/full stack with cloud integration.
• Strong knowledge of modern languages (HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go) and DevOps/cloud skills.
• Excellent German and English communication; analytical thinker.

Responsibilities

• Lead an international frontend/backend/QA/DevOps/Scrum Master team in an agile setup.
• Onboard train and develop employees; define recruiting standards and processes.
• Scale agile processes, split into three Scrum teams, align with international colleagues.

• You lead an international team of frontend and backend developers, quality assurance, DevOps engineers, and Scrum Masters through the agile development process and ensure the use of modern cloud and AI technologies.
• You take care of onboarding, training, and developing employees, define recruiting standards and processes, and actively foster skills in frontend, DevOps, cloud, and AI.
• You scale the agile processes within the department, divide the team into three independent Scrum teams, and integrate international colleagues into a unified cloud- and DevOps-oriented delivery structure.
• You coordinate and implement the technical requirements in a modern cloud environment (incl. CI/CD, monitoring, security) and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration into the existing system landscape.
• In addition, you design and prepare the Executive Board resolution on partial decryption and take on the technical implementation and verification using secure cloud services and, where appropriate, AI-supported methods.

• Completed vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist (m/f/d), or a degree in IT, e.g. Informatics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• Proven experience in leading Scrum development teams and applying Scrum methods, as well as the ability to motivate and lead an international team in a DevOps and cloud environment.
• Proven experience in desktop and web development in frontend, backend, or full stack - ideally with responsive UI, modern frameworks, and integration into cloud services.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant programming languages and technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS / SASS and JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, Go), hands-on experience in DevOps (e.g. CI/CD, containers, Infrastructure as Code) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), as well as an interest in AI/ML technologies and strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills round off your profile.
• Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and very good German and English skills.
