Job summary

Teoresi Group in Munich seeks an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based services. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS, and manage containerized environments.

The role requires several years of backend development, strong knowledge of databases, and hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD. Excellent English is required; German basics are a plus. The team works across borders in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Experience developing enterprise software using Java and modern backend frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with relational databases and data modelling.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and modern software development practices.
• Experience working in agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within international and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Basic German language skills are required
