Recare is hiring a Software Engineer (Computer Use & Integrations) to build and refine integrations between hospital systems and Recare products. You will implement automation flows, ensure reliability in production, and collaborate with clinical experts to automate complex workflows.

The role spans Go, Python services, TypeScript, React, and an Electron app, with a focus on observability, security, and robust interfaces. Remote-friendly with flexible hours across Europe.

What you'll do as our Software Engineer (Computer Use & Integrations) (m/w/d)

• You'll help build Recare's Operator, our agent that gets AI-generated clinical output into hospital systems by operating their existing software the way a person would, no bespoke interface required. It's the sharp end of our integration strategy: where a clean interface exists we use it, and where one doesn't, the agent bridges the gap.
• You build and improve integrations between hospital systems and Recare products.
• You implement and harden computer-use automation flows so they work reliably in production (edge cases, recovery, safety rails).
• You partner with clinical domain experts to turn ambiguous workflows into shippable plans.
• You contribute across the stack as needed.
• You invest in observability foundations (logs/metrics/traces).

Here’s how we picture you

• A full‑stack builder comfortable jumping across the stack (Go + Python services, TypeScript, React, Electron app) who defaults to building.
• Comfortable with integration-heavy systems: APIs, workflows, data models, auth, real-world edge cases.
• Experience shipping production software you owned.
• Pragmatic about reliability: monitoring, debugging, test coverage, operability.
• Excited to use AI coding agents daily with opinions on how to use them well.
• Ambitious but frustration-tolerant – hospital IT is complicated and progress is hard-won.
• You communicate confidently in English and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Operations.

Nice to have:

Healthcare IT systems (HIS, KIS, PVS, EMR) and standards such as HL7 v2 or FHIR.

Salary: 65-75K EUR
