TeleClinic GmbH is seeking an AI & Automation Manager to own end-to-end AI-driven patient journeys in Germany. You will design, optimize, and scale AI agents embedded in digital health ecosystems, enabling automated intake to appointment booking.

We're looking for an AI & Automation Manager to join our Patient Partnerships team and take ownership of our AI-driven and hybrid care journeys. TeleClinic is Germany's leading telemedicine platform and together with health insurers as well as ecosystem partners we’re building the next generation of patient access: AI agents that guide patients from their very first interaction - a phone call, a chat, a voice request - all the way to a completed medical appointment.

What you'll be working on

• Our Personal Assistant : an AI voice and chat agent embedded directly into the digital ecosystems of leading German health insurers. It answers patient requests, navigates them to the right care, and is on its way to becoming a product in its own right. You make it so good that patients love talking to it.

• Local Appointment Service : our AI-powered appointment service that turns a simple patient interaction into a confirmed medical appointment - fully automated, from intake to booking. You own the journey and make it reliable, scalable, and sellable.

• Consultations : phone-based doctor consultations that open up digital care to those who need it most, especially older patients who would never download an app. You make sure a simple phone call is all it takes to reach a doctor, turning telemedicine into truly inclusive healthcare.

• What comes next : this portfolio is just the starting point. New AI and hybrid care products are constantly emerging from our partnerships and we expect you to bring your own ideas to the table and turn the best of them into the next product we launch.

Your Mission

• Own the AI patient journeys : You are responsible for the end-to-end automated journeys that connect our partners' patients to care. From authentication and intake to a successfully booked and completed appointment.

• Build and optimize AI agents : You design conversational flows, sharpen agent behavior, and continuously raise the success rate of every automated interaction across voice, chat, and phone.

• Turn AI into products partners buy : You make our AI solutions reliable and measurable enough that health insurers and ecosystem partners trust them, sell them, and scale them with us.

• Collaborate cross-functionally : You work hand-in-hand with product, engineering, medical operations, and our partner managers to translate patient and partner needs into working solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement : You track how our journeys perform, identify friction, test relentlessly, and bring in new AI capabilities and best practices before anyone asks for them.

What You Bring

• Business Intelligence, Business Informatics, Business, Informatics or a comparable field or an equally convincing track record

• High level of ownership: You take responsibility for your product from idea to impact and don't wait for someone to hand you a roadmap.

• Genuine AI enthusiasm: You're excited about conversational and agentic AI and its potential to transform how patients access healthcare.

• Technical aptitude and curiosity: You learn fast, grasp systems quickly, and enjoy diving deep into new tools and technologies.

• Analytical mindset: You make decisions based on how journeys actually perform and know how to find that out.

• Fluent in German and English

Bonus Points For

• Experience building conversational AI, voice agents, or chatbots

• Hands-on experience with voice AI platforms such as ElevenLabs, Vapi, Retell AI, Parloa or PolyAI

• Familiarity with automation and integration tools (e.g., Make, Zapier)

• Knowledge of SQL and strong analytical skills

• Experience in digital health, insurance, or other regulated industries
