We are looking for you! We offer a full-time position (40h/week) as a Senior Engineer Backend (m/f/d) in one of our locations in either Heidelberg, Berlin, Leipzig or Munich. The offer includes the option of working several days per week in the mobile office.

Your essential experience and education

• Several years of professional practical experience as a Backend Developer
• Proficient in C#, .NET 5+, ASP.NET, and dependency injection
• Skilled in cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud
• Experienced with modern frontend technologies, particularly Angular/AngularJS
• Familiar with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, and monitoring tools like Kafka Elastic APM/Kibana
• Experienced in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket
• Designed and implemented REST APIs before
• You are familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• You have excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• You have experience with collaboration tools like ClickUp, Jira, or Confluence

Your mission

• You will primarily focus on backend development while also contributing to small frontend tasks as needed.
• You are not afraid to ask for help and have a growth mindset.
• End-to-end development, test, and deployment of new components
• Design and extension of our Micro-Services based web architecture with high-functional and high-performance features.
• You maintain and improve existing functionality and apply design changes to the architecture as it fits.
• You are part of a cross-functional team and in close cooperation with Frontend engineers, QA engineers and Product Owner in an established Agile environment.
