BAYOONIVERSITY seeks a Software Engineer (m/f/d) for Digital Health to contribute to cloud, web and mobile solutions in a regulated medical technology environment. You will work in a hybrid model with on-site and remote days, shaping modern software stacks and regulatory-compliant processes.

Focus areas include Cloud & Backend, Web, and Mobile Development, with opportunities to influence architecture, tooling and QA in an international, collaborative team.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science, medical technology, medical informatics, electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience in software engineering with C#, TypeScript, Python.
• Knowledge in Cloud/Backend/Web/Mobile areas.
• German and English proficiency required.
• Experience with cloud technologies & modern backend architectures.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments (IEC 62304, ISO 13485) is a plus.

You develop innovative cloud, web or mobile solutions for international customers in the regulated medical technology environment, implement agile processes and requirements in accordance with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 and work with modern technologies of your choice.

As a Software Engineer, you work on innovative solutions for international customers in the regulated environment of medical technology.
Depending on your experience, you will focus on: Cloud & Backend | Web | Mobile Development

Your area of activity includes, among other things:

• Conception & development of modern software solutions in agile processes
• Development of cloud & backend systems, web frontends and mobile applications
• Implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g. IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
• Creation of unit tests and support with integration & system tests
• Assistance with technical documentation in the QMS

Your profile

• Degree in computer science, medical technology, medical informatics, electrical engineering or similar
• Experience in software engineering (e.g. C#, TypeScript, Python)
• Knowledge in at least one area: Cloud / Backend / Web / Mobile
• Native app development for iOS or Android (Swift, Kotlin)
• Cross-platform development (e.g. Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter or React Native)
• Experience with cloud technologies & modern backend architectures, e.g:
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • API design & communication (REST, gRPC)
  • Event streaming & messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Infrastructure as Code & Deployment (Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines)
• Ideally experience in a regulated environment (IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Team player with initiative and analytical thinking
