Clera in Berlin is looking for a mobile-focused engineer to join our foundation engineering team. You will own core parts of a Flutter app, contribute to design systems, and help ship user-facing features.

You will build AI and agent infrastructure, improve developer workflows with CI/CD, and ensure stability for product teams. Fluency in English and a strong design eye are important as we ship polished learning experiences.

About the Role

Join the foundation engineering team at a Series B student-focused EdTech company, with a focus on mobile. You will build and maintain the shared technology, tools, and infrastructure that product teams rely on, while also shipping user-facing features. The work helps engineers deliver reliable, polished learning experiences more effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Two to four years of production experience building mobile applications with Flutter and Dart, or building web applications.

• Daily, fluent use of agentic coding tools, with a considered perspective on their strengths, limitations, and practical workarounds.

• A strong academic background from a well-regarded university or equivalent institution.

• An eye for design and detail, including visual consistency, spacing, and animation quality.

• Clear communication in English and an interest in improving systems and workflows that help other engineers work effectively.

• Experience shipping production software; deep platform engineering or architecture experience is not required.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is €80,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
