Zusammenfassung

Innolume GmbH is seeking a Software Engineer (f/m/d) to modernize our software landscape, develop scalable applications, and connect software with lab and manufacturing equipment. You will work across Eindhoven and Dortmund, traveling regularly between sites, to support the development and production of advanced photonic semiconductor devices.

Responsibilities include desktop app development, LabVIEW migration, and integrating MES/ERP systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/Software Eng/EE or related field.
• Several years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming in Python and/or C#; C++ is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and OOP.
• Experience developing desktop applications.
• Experience with SQL databases and data management.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical field
• Several years of professional software development experience
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C# (C++ is an advantage)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, object-orientated programming and modern software engineering principles
• Experience developing desktop applications
• Experience with SQL databases and data management
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)

Nice to have

• German language skills are an advantage
• Experience with laboratory automation or industrial software
• Experience integrating laboratory instruments or manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of MES, ERP or industrial communication interfaces
• Experience migrating legacy software systems
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, process monitoring, or machine learning
• Experience in the semiconductor industry
