Ray Sono GmbH in Munich is seeking a Software Engineer to build reliable, high-performing digital solutions within agile teams. You will independently manage defined areas, assess quality and risk, and contribute to clean integration and documentation.

The role requires several years of software engineering experience for digital products, with fluency in German and English and a commitment to maintaining high standards of code and security. Remote work is possible within a flexible hybrid setup.

• Several years of practical experience in software engineering for digital products and platforms.
• Work confidently with clean code, testing, APIs, CI/CD, performance, security and maintainable systems.
• Independently plan and manage clearly defined areas of responsibility.
• Assess options for quality, impact, effort and feasibility.
• Communicate convincingly with clients, teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Share knowledge, support Junior colleagues and improve ways of working pragmatically.
• Communicate very well in German and English.

• Independently implement more complex features, components, interfaces or technical areas.
• Assess solutions for quality, effort, scalability, security and maintainability.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies and develop concrete mitigations.
• Enable stable releases through testing, reviews, documentation and clean integration.
• Explain technical impacts on timing, scope, quality and operations clearly.
• Improve engineering practices and support Junior Engineers professionally.
