Nexthink in Germany seeks a mid‑level Software Engineer to join one of our core Engineering teams, focusing on UI Platform features. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software components using TypeScript and React, and work with modern cloud‑native technologies to power Nexthink’s platform.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of professional Software Engineer experience.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native tech.
• Kafka knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent English communication.

• Design, implement, and maintain front-end and/or back-end features for the UI platform of our product.
• Improve modules with focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Design, consume, and validate RESTful APIs supporting UI Platform workflows.

In this role, you will design, develop, andmaintainhigh‑qualitysoftware components usingTypeScript, React, and moderncloud‑nativetechnologies. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, andcross‑functionalteams to deliver scalable and secure solutions that power Nexthink’s next generation of DEX capabilities.

This is ahands‑onengineering role in a collaborative, agile environment whereyou’llbe empowered to influence design decisions, improve architecture, and drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

Feature Development

• Design, implement, andmaintainfront‑endand/orback‑endfeatures related tothe UI platform of our product.
• Improve existing modules with a strong focus onperformance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and propose technical solutions aligned with product goals.

API Design & Integration

• Design, consume, andvalidateRESTful APIssupportingUI Platformworkflows.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrateUI Platformservices with internal microservices and shared platform components.

Security & Compliance by Design

• Ensure features followsecure coding standards, privacy best practices, and internal engineering guidelines.
• Support compliance initiatives (e.g., GDPR, FedRAMP) through robust andaudit‑readyimplementations.

Quality, Testing & Automation

• Develop andmaintainunit, integration, andend‑to‑endtestsfor new and existing features.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements, ensuring automation and build reliability forUI Platformcomponents.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high quality and maintainability.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Participate actively in agile ceremonies and team rituals.
• Mentor junior engineers when needed and promote engineering best practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to tools, processes, or architecture.

Qualifications

Required

• 1-3years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• StrongproficiencywithTypeScriptand/orReact, with solid practical experience buildingproduction‑gradeapplications.
• Good understanding ofsoftware design principles(e.g., SOLID), clean code, and modular architectures.
• Experience working withmicroservices, distributed systems, and modern cloud ecosystems (Kubernetes preferred).
• Familiarity withevent‑drivenarchitectures(Kafka knowledge is a plus).
• Strong understanding oftesting methodologiesand experience working with automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, andproblem‑solvingskills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Background working inhigh‑securityor highly regulated environments.
• Exposure toDevOps principles, CI/CD tooling, orinfrastructure ascode.
