Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned AI/GenAI Lead to design, implement, and govern AI/GenAI solutions across enterprise applications using Azure OpenAI, RAG, and vector search. You will drive architectural direction, oversee secure delivery, and mentor engineers to raise the bar in engineering excellence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with partners and internal teams to ensure scalable, high-performance outcomes, while embedding governance and regulatory controls in SDLC practices.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.

• Design, develop, and implement AI/GenAI solutions using Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, RAG, vector search, and agent-based frameworks
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications and organizational knowledge sources
• Define and deliver scalable, performant, secure, usable, and maintainable technical solutions
• Lead feature development and provide technical direction throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, business partners, vendors, and customers
• Establish and enforce code review, documentation, testing, and CI/CD best practices
• Embed security, governance, compliance, and regulatory controls into AI and DevOps solutions
• Oversee vendor-delivered solutions, technical reviews, code quality, and final sign-off
• Monitor project and operational metrics and make data-driven recommendations
• Drive engineering excellence through automation, continuous improvement, and quality assurance
• Ensure technical, architectural, and SDLC documentation is created and maintained
• Mentor engineers, share knowledge, foster innovation, and promote best practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies, AI advancements, and Azure DevOps capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8 years of software development experience
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Demonstrated expertise delivering enterprise-scale systems
• Deep hands-on technical expertise in one or more core technologies
• Experience designing and delivering high-performance, scalable, and reliable enterprise solutions
• Experience leading implementation and deployment of complex enterprise systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to mentor less experienced engineers
• Ability to make sound technical tradeoffs
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and complex delivery environments
• Ability to keyboard and communicate clearly and understandably in person and over the telephone
