The Community Feedback team is responsible for many iconic Amazon experiences including Customer Reviews and Question and Answers. We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer to work with a team in Berlin, Germany and deliver on our next generation of product and services from the ground up.

We're looking for a passionate, team-oriented and talented engineer who has experience building innovative, sophisticated applications that customers love. You'll work to design and implement products and services used every day, by people you know. If you enjoy solving complex problems and tackling ambitious challenges, we’d love to hear from you!

About the team

The Community Feedback team shapes products and technology used daily by millions of people around the world. The team is responsible for many central Amazon experiences including Customer Reviews and Questions and Answers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
