Cadence's Simufact team in Hamburg seeks a Software Engineer II to design and build graphics-based applications and AI-enabled tooling for next-generation simulation software. Job Title: Software Engineer II C/C++ (m/f/d)
Location: Hamburg, Germany
As a Software Engineer II at Cadence’s Simufact team in Hamburg, you will design and build graphics-based applications and intelligent tooling for next-generation simulation software that sits at the intersection of engineering physics, algorithms, and AI-driven workflows. Your work will directly shape the quality and capability of products used by engineers across the world’s most demanding industries. You will operate in an agile, internationally collaborative environment where AI is treated not as an add-on feature, but as a core part of how software is conceived, built, and maintained.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git). Exposure to simulation software, CAE tools, or engineering physics domains. Experience working in an international or cross-cultural team environment.
