Job Title: Software Engineer II C/C++ (m/f/d) Location: Hamburg, Germany
As a Software Engineer II at Cadence’s Simufact team in Hamburg, you will design and build graphics-based applications and intelligent tooling for next‑generation simulation software that sits at the intersection of engineering physics, algorithms, and AI‑driven workflows. Your work will directly shape the quality and capability of products used by engineers across the world’s most demanding industries. You will operate in an agile, internationally collaborative environment where AI is treated not as an add‑on feature, but as a core part of how software is conceived, built, and maintained.
You will join the Simufact software engineering team in Hamburg — an international group focused on advanced simulation solutions for manufacturing processes, operating within Cadence’s broader software portfolio. Key collaborators include product managers, QA engineers, and simulation domain experts across multiple European sites. The team works primarily with C/C++, modern GUI frameworks, and AI‑assisted development tooling. Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) are standard. This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Hamburg. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
