Hetzner Online in Falkenstein/Vogtland is seeking a Software Developer (m/f/d) on the Backend Team to advance our Cloud products. You will work on Cloud Servers, Volumes and Snapshots, leveraging a mature CI/CD pipeline with GitLab, Docker and Kubernetes.

You will write clean, testable Go code and review peers’ work. You will help maintain documentation and participate in on-call rotations to keep services highly available.

Competenze

• Experience with Go backend development in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience writing maintainable, well-tested code.

Mansioni

• Develop and expand Hetzner's Cloud products, including Cloud Servers, Volumes and Snapshots.
• Work with a CI/CD pipeline based on GitLab, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write clean, understandable code (DRY, KISS) and develop automated tests.
• Conduct code reviews together with your team.
• Independently update and maintain existing documentation.
• Take part in an on-call shift rotation to ensure service availability.

As a Software Developer (m/f/d) on the Backend Team at our Falkenstein site in the Vogtland region, you will work at the heart of our Cloud products, using your expertise and ideas to improve them. Our users create thousands of virtual servers on our platform every day. Help us further develop our Cloud Servers, Volumes, and Snapshots and tackle exciting scaling challenges. A mature CI/CD pipeline based on GitLab, Docker and Kubernetes helps you develop efficiently – automated tests and code reviews provide the necessary confidence. We rely on modern technologies, but do not follow every trend. We stay true to the motto “the right tool for the job”. We know how important the right tooling is for developers, and therefore, continuously improve it. Our stack in a nutshell: Go, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kafka.
