Zusammenfassung

TSMC in Dresden is seeking an AMHS Software Engineer (m/w/d) to own the control system of our Automated Material Handling System, ensuring smooth transport movements and high production efficiency.

You will lead with a hands-on approach, apply optimization methods, and collaborate across teams, with on-the-job training in Taiwan for 9–12 months.

Fluency in English is required; basic German or Mandarin is a plus; Master’s in a relevant field is preferred.

AMHS Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Optimize the heartbeat of our production.

As an AMHS Software Engineer, you are the mastermind behind the control system of our Automated Material Handling System (AMHS). You ensure that millions of transport movements mesh seamlessly, eliminate bottlenecks, and take the efficiency of our production line to the next level.

You are a proactive teamplayer who combines in-depth technical knowledge with leadership skills and a hands-on approach.

1. Education: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science (IT), Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
2. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of optimization algorithms, Industrial Engineering (IE), and information technology (C#, Java, Python, SQL, Oracle, MS-SQL, VBA).
3. Experience: Professional experience in the semiconductor industry is required.
4. Methodology: You are proficient in applying problem-solving methods such as FMEA, SPC, and 8D.
5. Personality: A goal-oriented team player with leadership potential who keeps a cool head even in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
6. Language: Fluent in English (company language). Basic communication skills in Mandarin or German is a plus.
7. Training: Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan, 9 to 12 months.
