Job summary

Findr is seeking a Software Architect to design scalable, secure cloud architectures for complex public sector projects in Germany, including cloud-native, microservices and AI-enabled systems.

You will work closely with customers and development teams to modernise legacy platforms, define standards, and guide technical decisions to ensure reliability, maintainability and performance. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience designing software architectures for complex distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and backend architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions and modern platform technologies.
• Excellent German (C2) and strong English communication skills.

Germany’s public sector is undergoing one of the largest digital transformation programmes in Europe.

As a Software Architect, you’ll work closely with customers and development teams to design scalable, secure and future-proof solutions, modernise legacy systems, and help organisations adopt cloud-native technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, including AI-enabled applications where they deliver genuine business value.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing modern software and cloud architectures for complex public sector environments
• Defining architecture standards, implementation roadmaps and operating models
• Designing solutions with a focus on scalability, security, reliability and maintainability
• Supporting development teams throughout implementation and technical decision-making
