Job summary

Findr is seeking a Senior Software Developer / Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure software for public sector modernization in Germany. The role focuses on AI-enabled applications, cloud-native architectures, microservices and Java backend development.

You will work closely with experienced architects and leaders to guide technical decisions, modernise legacy systems, and realise impactful cloud projects.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Java software development and modern backend technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices and cloud technologies.
• Excellent German (C2) and strong English communication skills.

Germany’s public sector is undergoing one of the largest digital transformation programmes in Europe.

Join a leading consultancy helping to modernise critical national infrastructure through large-scale cloud and software transformation projects. One example is the German Justice Cloud, a major initiative supporting the digitalisation of more than 20,000 courts across Germany.

Working alongside experienced Software Architects and technical leaders, you’ll help design and deliver scalable, secure and future-proof software solutions for public sector organisations. You’ll contribute to modernising legacy systems, implementing cloud-native technologies and exploring emerging technologies, including AI-enabled applications where they deliver genuine business value.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing modern Java applications for complex public sector environments
• Designing and implementing cloud-native and microservice-based solutions
