We are looking for a Social Media & Content Manager (m/f/d) to help drive Changan’s social presence across Europe. In this role, you will take strategic ownership of our existing @ChanganEurope social media channel — while identifying new opportunities to expand and evolve our digital ecosystem. Working closely with our agency partner as well as other internal stakeholders. You’ll be a key player in ensuring our platforms reflect the brand, engage audiences, and deliver measurable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Execution Oversight
- Manage and evolve Changan’s existing European social media channels, ensuring they are impactful, consistent, and audience-relevant.
- Define the future structure of our social media ecosystem, identifying new platforms, formats, and local market needs.
- Guide agency partners in creating and executing content calendars, campaign rollouts, and community engagement initiatives.
- Monitor performance against key KPIs (e.g. reach, engagement, growth), and use insights to inform strategy and planning.
- Campaign Coordination & Content Planning
- Support integrated marketing campaigns through digital content planning across web and social channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (brand, PR, CRM, media, product) to align content with broader objectives.
- Ensure all agency deliverables meet Changan’s standards and contribute to a cohesive digital presence.
- Work with HQ, event managers and European marketing managers to align on a holistic content plan going forward
- Ensure asset availability across markets
- Tools, Reporting & Optimization
- Contribute to the selection and use of digital tools for content planning, publishing, and performance tracking.
- Lead regular reporting and performance reviews across digital channels, translating results into actionable improvements.
- Stay informed on digital trends and innovations to keep Changan’s presence fresh and competitive in the European market.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or similar qualification.
- Several years of experience in social media and digital content roles, ideally across multiple European markets.
- Strong experience managing digital platforms through external agencies.
- Familiarity with website CMS (e.g., WordPress), web analytics tools (e.g., GA4), and social performance dashboards.
- Strong coordination, communication, and content evaluation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
