Auto1 Global Services SE & Co. KG is seeking a Site Manager for a new Production Center in Hambach to lead a 200+ strong team, ensuring lean operations and top vehicle quality. You will drive planning, execution and cost efficiency while scaling capacity to meet growth.

Collaborating closely with Berlin HQ, you will onboard and train teams and build strong relationships with partners across the network, delivering continuous improvement and high performance in a fast‑growing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in automotive or production environments.
• Experience leading large teams (80+ staff).
• Degree in business, supply chain management or similar.
• Experience scaling ramp-up operations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production center of 200+ employees efficiently and leanly.
• Plan and run day-to-day operations to achieve top car quality and efficient output.
• Scale production capacity from zero to target levels to match growth.

Job Description

Your new role

• Lead a production center of more than 200 employees in the most professional and most lean way
• Plan and run the day-to-day operations at the production center to achieve best-in-class car quality and output optimization while staying cost efficient
• Scale up production capacities from scratch to the desired max. capacity in order to keep up with our growth
• Build up, manage and improve relationships within our local network of partners
• Align on targets and resources directly with Berlin HQ and be responsible for process implementation on site incl. building strong teams by providing the proper onboarding and training
• Take concrete measures to improve performance and ensure a strong continuous improvement culture among our teams on site

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience within the automotive industry or a production or manufacturing environment
• Absolute superb team management skills, previous experience leading and managing a large team of minimum 80 people (directly and indirectly)
• University degree in business, supply chain management or similar
• Experience in rapidly scaling businesses or demonstrated success in a leading position within a ramp-up operation is an advantage
• Previous track record of optimizing processes and achieving efficiencies by leveraging production, logistics, or shop floor operations
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
